Striking Presence Publications is dedicated to producing children's stories that highlight positive black characters, and promote a strong sense of family. "Meet Julius Carmichael: First Day Blues", was written by Jonathan Carroll. We designed the cover for "First Day Blues", illustration by Nancey Flowers.
